I'm hoping a 64gig card will eventually become available for out devices at some point. If not, I'll just remove some of the older movies I don't watch as much... Like all the YT3D videos I've downloaded.

Sandisk has them now. They're just over $200.

I hopped on this thread actually to see if anybody had one and could verify that it'll work in the 3vo. Our stats say it only supports up to 32GB, but having talked to some people I'm led to believe that it'll still work even if not formally supported.

One fine chap on AndroidForums.com has a 64GB MicroSDXC and has successfully used it in a variety of his android based devices, with video proof. He does not have an HTC Evo 3D or Evo 4G, but he does have a stock HTC Sensation (Evo 3D's step-brother). He seems like a solid source and I don't feel myself doubting his veracity. He is a blogger, and mobile tech seems to be his passion and focus. He also mentions a few others on XDA have gotten them and found the same success. So despite earlier indications that it may not work with the system without at least a software update from Google, it appears they are working without fail after installation and a format (converts the file system from exFAT to FAT32)! This is great news, however I'm still troubling over ponying up the cash for one.

^ I am SO there. If I can get my hands on one, I'll probably be one of the first to upgrade from my existing 32. In the last few months of uploading games and movies, I'm finding that a lot of these games require as much as a gig of hard drive space on my 32gig card, which unfortunately decreases the number of movies I can store on my device. I tend to watch movies and play games weekly, so having enough space without compromising one for the other shouldn't have to come down to an either or choice.

So without a doubt, I'll be keeping an eye out for retailers that have this and jump on it. One thing I didn't see any specs on the 64gig card is what the class rating is. Whether it's a class 4 or class 10. I'm hoping it's a class 10 (or higher).

Hi all
I have htc evo 3D. I bought SanDisk 32GB for my phone and it works fine but it doesn't let me now it's 5.45GB usage space and 24.79GB free space. Trying to copy 3D movie to my sd card it's 5GB and it says not enough memory on your card... Any Ideas what is going on??? Please help. Thank you

Unless you've uploaded a lot of other files on your new card or have a lot of 3D games, that shouldn't be happening. I have a 32gig/class 10 card with 11 3D games installed, and 9 full length 3D movies. That's not including other 2D games, apps, and other little stuff. And my card is practically full... Which is why I'll be switching over to a 64gig card before the year is out.

The only thing I might suggest is to make sure your files are backed up on your computer, and reformat your micro SD card.

Could be similar to Windows FAT32 file system, and won't allow a single file over 4gb in size. I am only guessing, because I have tried copying a huge file on my phone yet.

Hello all. Sorry if this has been answered before.

I recently upgraded to a 32gb sdhc card. However, not thinking, I bought a class 2. My question is, would the class of the card affect picture quality? I took some video today and everything seemed just fine, however when I snapped a few photos, my evo3d seemed to have difficulty capturing anything that was in motion, causing a good amount of blur. Any help would be appreciated.

The Read and Write speed does have an effect on Video from what I understand. Not sure about Photos. An SD card that has too little can be just as bad as one that has too much. If it writes too slow, it can cause the Video images to be distorted. That's about all I know from just experience.

I never payed much attention to it when selecting an SD card. It's a good obversation though. I may need read up on it a little. I've used the same SD card for nearly every smart phone I've had.

I have a new problem... I've had my 32gig/class 10 for quite a few months now. And during that time I've Synced up a dozen times. Then as of this week, I started getting computer errors stating that Sync couldn't recognize my SD card. Or in some cases, my device can't find Sync on my PC. I haven't removed the card or rebooted the battery for well over 3 months, so I'm not sure what the disconnect is.

I always keep a backup of my 3DVO files on my PC anyway, but it'd be better if I could just Sync.

Anyone else have this problem?

Nope, backup your stuff from your SD card and then format it, then transfer your stuff back and then try it again and report back, if still same issue, try fixing permissions in recovery if your rooted
