Help Phone emailed me a picture on it's own. Epic is self aware?

So has anyone elses Epic 4G become self aware? Today I had my phone sitting on my desk at work, not doing anything with it. All of a sudden I receive an email to my gmail account from my phone. I open it up and it's a picture of a bird I took at a zoo 5 months ago! WTF? This isn't the first weird thing my phone has done either. I received a text once from my mother asking if something was wrong because she received a text from me at 2am one night while I was sleeping. The text was a repeat text from 2 weeks prior. The original text went through just fine too so it wasn't just pending the whole time. I brushed off the text as a glitch but the email is a bit odd. Now I'm wondering if it's emailing pictures to anyone else on my email list or just to the gmail account the phone is registered under. Anyone else experience this?

I have noticed sometimes the messaging gets stuck at server.
