I have habd my sony x10 for 1.5 years and gone throught 3 usb charging/pc conectivity cables and two ac plugs,they dont last.I was just wondering if someone could point me int right direction for one that lasts or just buy two or three more .Just wondering because the wife has a four year old ipod touch and she is on the same cable and ac plug.

I have my original.
I always plug my phone into an outlet that has a nice surge protector/power bar. And never some cheap $5 power bar, but a nice one.
What happen with your cables? Why or how are they breaking?

they just stop working ,wont charge the phone.they were the original type but it looks like they had a fuse inline,mybe the cheap powerbar might be doing it.

The cable that came with my phone works perfectly, but I got a free cable with a free auto charger, this one stopped working, it didn't take long. I suspect they put very cheap materials in the connectors, the cable itself should be okay no matter what you pay, but if the connector breaks then the cable is useless!
