Ok this is an option that has got me annoyed. I prefer my phone to stay on when I am charging my phone. Whether it's USB, Wall, or Car dock. What happens is I find that it doesn't always stay on. Usually this happens while it's in the car dock. I always check to see that the Stay Awake option is ticked. I plug the phone onto the car dock and it's on. Sometimes I forget to plug in my 3.5mm jack to the car so I take it off the dock, plug the 3.5mm jack, and then put it n the dock. I usually listen to Pandora while in the car so I take off after setting up Pandora and then while I am driving I notice that the screen turned off. This forces me to unplug and plug my cigarette lighter to force the screen to turn on. Then I go check the setting and I find the Stay Awake option unticked. This almost happens every time and getting really annoying. When I check the option I expect it to stay but that's not the case. Has anyone run into this problem and has anyone figured out how to fix this problem? It's been an on going issue for me and I just finally got annoyed enough to post this.
FYI: I am rooted and running Purity 2.5. Car charger is aftermarket but I doubt this would cause my Stay Awake to turn off. Prove me wrong otherwise. My guess has to do with the Car Dock app.
