I live in Maryland and called 5 times before I got the $100.00 dollars off,she assurred me I will get it when I upgrade,providing the phone is released before the 31st.Also,a rep from a verizon store just called me and told me Thursday is the day for sure.I'll believe it when I see it but that's what he told me.Everyone keep your fingers crossed.

Just curious, seems like they would keep a record, if for nothing else than to make sure that they have some info on the call without having to pull up a recording or something.

you would think this would be the case, but that's definitely not what i've experienced...some here have gotten it after multiple calls

also, they've never said, why are you calling back for the 5th time today?

Take it FWIW, grain of salt, etc. Just kind of shocked me that they found that in their system. Still hoping for the 15th.

I'm still pretty hopeful about the 15th, our sources are pretty reliable.

Shop > Smartphones > "Quick Look" on the Razr. Then a "Chat" button should show up on the popup.

if steven jackson gets 3 more fantasy points by the end of this game I win my matchup this week. I'll use this as my galaxy nexus barometer!

There's no built-in option for an online chat, just hang out on the site for a while and a chat window should pop up eventually.

Log in and start shopping phones. Keep looking around at different phones and eventually a chat will popup asking if they can assist you.

OK folks. I have another possible discount for you.

I got the $100 noted to my account (see my earlier posts). I also emailed VZ CS using the online form to email. I did this on Saturday. The gentlemen from that department denied my $100 3g to 4g promo request, but said he'll monitor my account for a 4g phone purchase for the next 48 hours. If he sees me buy a phone, he'll credit my account another $50. I am hoping I can get it extended to 72 hours or longer, to get the GN. Updates to follow.

A CSR chat window pops up only when you know what you are looking for. If you don't need to speak to a CSR, then the window will pop up

If you log in and go to the shopping page under smart phones on the upper left hand of the shopping window there should be a chat now option.

I work for a major insurance carrier and we dont notate each call.. Only rhe good CSRs and thw bad calls really het doc'd. I would think they possibly keep records if each advisor had something do change on your account but i wouldnt count on it.

Sadly most are under paid and they get pushed to meet AHT (average handling time) and CPH (calls per hour) goals. so they could care less

So, sounds like things haven't changed yet...this is tentatively good news I guess. Was it on the 9th last week that launch got reset? Or, before....
I'm wondering if there might be a window, past which we can actually begin to be comfortable that the rug will stay firmly under our feet, lol....
