Is this Galaxy Nexus speed test legit?

I'm 32 up 19 down. 5 bars in downtown Kzoo. It's pretty impressive when I see the speed test blazing like that. I also did three tests and then checked the data that SpeedTest.net app used and it was at 43MB. Seems like an awful lot for a speed test. Thank god I have unlimited or I would hit the cap quick.

Nice to know MI has nice speeds.

I have the grandfathered unlimited plan and was wondering if sites like 'Letstalk' supported previous family plans. On Amazon, GNEX is $149 if you open a new account and $249 for existing. You mentioned you have unlimited data, where did you purchase your phone?

cn anyone tell me why the heck you need that much speed anyway? Things stream in hd nicely with a 5-6 dl and a 1 ul. just seems like a quicker way t hit your cap

FWIW, the average speed will be around 12mbps down when most users switch to 4G phones. Right now, towers are set up for high capacity, but they aren't taking a big hit yet. 40-50 mbps and higher aren't uncommon right now because your neighbors are still using 3G.
