Root Major Droid X Problem...Please Help

Hello All,
I have always looked here when I needed help with my droid x, but today I am really stuck. My droid is rooted on a ROM, I dont remember which one, I must have tried like 3 different ones and spent almost 24 hours trying to fix it. But now I dont always get txt messages, the droid is not responding half the time, my battery life sucks... I guess my major question is what is the best and most stable ROM out there for the Droid X, I tried looking in the ROM thread, but its just confusing me more....I really need my phone and right now, I am ready to just throw it out the window.... Any help that anyone can give me, would be the best...... please please please help me, I love my Droid X and I really dont want to and cant afford to get a new phone........

you need to sbf first

and it also depends on what type of rom you want to try

i would suggest cm7gb version

if you want to stay on moto based roms, i would recommend liberty, or apex.

Sometimes people just come back and look for their answer. Seeing the SBF sticky linked, he may have just gone there and followed instructions.

Yeah. And to her surprise 6 of them are fat, 4 have no teeth, 7 are missing limbs, 3 wear eye patches, 2 are deaf, 5 have realy bad body oder, ten are elderly, and 3 bare a striking resemblence to Carrot top.....
