If you look at Verizon's coverage map in 30120 you will see a spec at the bottom but I travel the top edge of that map and have been getting the speeds seen below. And its 60 miles north before the maps shows it again.

Go Verizon!

I got a 25.22 down and 16.20 up also. :D

Congrats to you!
Have to say, since I got my Bionic in September (and now the Nexus), speeds have drastically plummeted. I think once the area is saturated with 4G users, it is inevitable.
I now top out at 15Mbps down :(
Not trying to bum you out, it's still a hell of a lot better than 3G and near broadband speeds (tethering is fantastic with it) :D

Where are you? because I hear of people(on this forum) that are in NYC and get 30+Mbps down. And I get 25-35 Mbps down and 15-25 up consistently and 4g has been in my city for over 7 months(or close to that). You could just be in a weak 4g area...

I'm in south central wisconsin, about 30 miles north of madison which is a strong 4g area, and just got 4g last week! I discovered it by accident. Flashed a new rom and it changed my settings to LTE/CDMA and sure enough when it booted i had 2 bars of 4G! So if i got it, its gotta be rolling out to more locations. FYI i was getting 15-20 down, which is the same speed as my home connection, so no use in tethering, but that doesn't mean i didn't try it ;)

I called Verizon tech support today because of data drops and found that work is being done on the new 4g in the area and to hang on.

He told me iit will not be very long before 4g is nation wide.

Yeah, everything I've read is VZW plans to have 4G everywhere 3G currently is by the end of 2013... they are being extremely aggressive with their rollout.

:)

Yikes, not sure what's up with butternutz, anyway, I'm in central DC. I usually get 2-4 bars of 4G on average but have noticed with speed tests that it has gone down a bit since September. Still awesome, but the numbers have fluctuated since then.
And my broadband speed test yields 26/6 so yeah it's not too far off.
