Has anyone installed Spint VMM on their hero

i am running CM7 and can not get the sprint vmm file to install. has anyone had any luck? keeps aborting the install. not sure why, using clockwork mod.

Thread moved to the root section. I believe you have to flash the Sprint Visual Voicemail .zip file to get it to work correctly.

I know it works since the Sprint VVM was the only VM I used with my Hero. You do have to install it into the custom ROMs though. The only problem I ever had with it was getting a text evverytime I had a VM. Could not stop it from happening, no matter what, but it didn't bother that much either.

If you use Handcent SMS, you can blacklist the number that sends the text message. That is what I did back when I used Sprint Visual Voicemail.

Incidentally, KitsapAndroid, how are you liking your new Sprint Samsung Epic 4G Touch? I am guessing you are liking it a lot.

True LBP, Handcent probably would have fixed it for me. However, I never used Handcent. The stock messaging app always did just fine for me. In fact, it still does.

And I am LOVING my E4gT!

It's such a great device. The Hero was too, but it can't even hold a candle to the E4gT. So glad I decided to just go for it with the upgrade. Plus, with the buy back program from Best Buy, I might even be able to pick up whatever the hot device is when LTE finally makes it to my neck of the woods.

Basically, when you buy your phone, you pay $30 upfront, and that gives your phone a value. The value starts off high, and slowly lowers with time. When I bought mine, If I was to ride out the entire contract, then the phone buy back value is $140. Which means if I wanted a new $200 phone at contract time, I would only need another $60 to get it. You can sell it earlier though and get more money for it if you choose. That's the basic rundown.
