Official ICS Leak Thread - all leaked ICS talk goes here

i loaded a unrooted version from android police onto my sd card .. my phone is not rooted.

I deleted the zip file from my sd card(that i loaded to get ics) but everytime i try to restart phone or do factory reset it powers back up with 4.0.

In HBOOT is there another option i should select ?

any opinion on when the OTA update comes out that it still might update ?

You can do the OTA, provided its not the same version, or HTC doesn't release it to those who already applied the leaked update. I remember this happening a few years back.. I want to say with the Hero (maybe it was the EVO), where HTC pretty much left people who'd updated a leaked version in the dark for about a month, because updating to the leaked version threw those who did "off the upgrade path" or some BS. Either way, I'm sure once it's released, it'll be as easy as getting the .zip and applying it that way again, unless of course, the final is the same versrion AS the leaked, then there won't be any need to re-apply, etc.

I just did an inventory of the data/files/apps on the two phones and copy/backup to the laptop. Inventory of apps is easy - hit print-screen on the various pages (long list) of installed apps... just the icons showing the app names will be enough since we can download it later if necessary. Also print-screen the various (7) desktops/panels with all the icons (names) too in case it disappears later.

One item that I can't seem to find is the speedtest.net data on the phone. Anyone knows which subdirectory it is located or is it in the cloud? Thanks.
