I say give it about a week before you decide if you like it or not, it seems to continue to cure and harden for about 5-6 days.

I was looking at the Ghost Armor link and I just noticed they have a matte finish one. I wonder what that looks like. I'd also like to see the carbon fiber and wood designs in person. I was reading the installation instructions for the Ghost Armor, and they say to mix a bowl of soapy water for the installation, and to wrap the cleaning cloth around a card to use as a squeegee. You'd think for the money they could at least include that stuff. (?) The squeegee they include with the Zagg is actually really nice, its made of thick rubber.

I'm really new to forums. I thought I join this one.
have you purchased any of the ghost armor?
If so which one? Or do you know the difference between the
Carbon fiber and matte?

Hi, welcome to the forum! I haven't bought anything from Ghost Armor, maybe someone who has can chime in. Basically, I think the carbon fiber obviously has the carbon fiber pattern, sort of a black and dark grey check pattern. I think its a dry installation, more like a sticker. The matte is a wet install like the regular one, but has a non shiny finish to not show as many fingerprints and glare. Check YouTube for some videos about installing these things and to see what they look like.

And thanks for the info.

Ha ha wish I could have seen this video. Before purchasing
Ghost armor carbon fiber one. I thought it was a hard cover
Not a sticker lol. I feel dumb. But reviews seem pretty good.
Ill put a review up when I get it in the mail. I looked at the zagg
but I looks kinda tacky -ish
And I've read it gets greasy at some point.

I have the Zagg on the back of mine, (still have the screen naked) and it's pretty good. It really is pretty scratch proof, and it gets less greasy than the bare plastic. I honestly think that any company that insists on making their phones out of shiny plastic should have something like this installed from the factory. The carbon fiber skins seem pretty nice to me. I wouldn't mind having it. The important thing is getting the corners right. You should watch all the YouTube videos you can find before trying to install it. Pay attention to the iPhone 3G videos, since the design is very similar to the Mercury.

That would be nice. But I dought that will ever happen.
Does the zagg have a rough feel to it?
Yea I've seen some videos it looks pretty simple. But ill
Probably watch some more videos. The edges seem to trouble
With everyone.

No, out doesn't feel rough at all. You can see the slight "orange peel" effect, but it feels perfectly smooth to the touch. It does take a few days to totally dry or cure or whatever before it feels right, though.

I like the case, only downside is the case itself makes the phone to bulky...

Black Duo Shield Double Layer Hard Case Cover
yea i took mine off since i use my phone for music a lot at the gym and i no longer have bluetooth headset, which mean the phone has to be in the pocket. The phone felt just right with out the case.
