OMG, so Samsung was "hell-bent" on beating Apple in 2012?!!!!

Don't think Apple is a Saint. And what for? Do you honestly think iPhone is better than the Galaxy S3? Please, just sell the phone and get an iShit. Seriously, in 100 years time we'll need to change the way we call Apple (the fruit), because Apple Inc. wants the exclusivity.

Depends. Millions of iPhone users and comparatively few S3 users. So, if sales figures are a guide, yes, Apple rules. That siad, if you are a tech head ovbsesses with stats that mean very little in the real world, perhaps there are "better" phones than the iPhone.

Oops . . I do not have the S3 sales figures at and so perhaps the S3 does out sell iPhone(s)

Apple is not a saint; they are a wildly successful American company. Just what we need, more success stories. And Apple is the company all other cell phone companies wish they could become.

And please stop saying iShit. Not fair and it speaks to your newbee status. If you think an iPhone is "iShit" you need to learn more. The iPhone is a well made, solid, stable device, period.

No single Android phone will ever outsell an iPhone. Its basically because there are several models of Androids. That way, some people won't feel to have to buy an S3 and settle for an S2, or an S Advance, or an Ace 2 (from Samsung). Then you have to contend with the ones who prefer Sony (several Xperias) or HTC. With iOS your only choice of the matter is 3 models.

Honestly though, I dislike the way things were handled. I could agree with the rulings where Samsung did infringe on certain icon and UI design patents (although it took a court to make me realize Samsung used a sunflower on the gallery icon), but the fact that Apple got away with technical patents like antenna technology and stuff shows just how much a bunch of ignorant individuals (with regards to patent laws and technical stuff) the jury was. They had no idea what Samsung was talking about in the patents discussed. They can see the things Samsung violated, but they don't understand the antenna design differences and other related patents.
