Dang. 11 years

Osama bin Laden exploited a weakness in security, Bush family's close business and personal relationship with the Saudi royal family, which is why 15 of 19 hijackers held Saudi passports. If you were security, you better have a damn good reason to interfere with a Saudi passport holder under the Bush regime.

Interesting, "Bin Laden also said only the restoration of Sharia law would "set things right" in the Muslim world, and that alternatives such as "pan-Arabism, socialism, communism, democracy" must be opposed.[46] " Just substitute biblical for Sharia; Christian for Muslim; Internationalism for pan-Arabism and you have the right wing.

"Bin Laden's overall strategy against much larger enemies such as the Soviet Union and United States was to lure them into a long war of attrition in Muslim countries, attracting large numbers of jihadists who would never surrender. He believed this would lead to economic collapse of the enemy nation.[69] Al-Qaeda manuals clearly outline this strategy. In a 2004 tape broadcast by al-Jazeera, bin Laden spoke of "bleeding America to the point of bankruptcy".[70] "

This country never learns. My grandfather fought in WWII, won the Medal of Honor and came home to face immense discrimination just because he was Asian. The fact that he was a war hero and wasn't Japanese at all didn't matter. He was Asian and that was enough. Now we see that same kind of bias and bigotry being directed toward Muslims. Same thing. Different target. Nothing changes I guess. That is what is sad.

Ok why don't you go tell the Muslims all about how their "faith" is in any way connected to Christianity.
ps make sure to protect your head when you do lmao

Christianity, Judaism, and Islam are inextricably linked. Did you not do this in school?

I know Muslims. Muslims consider Judaism, Christianity and Islam as "Religions of the book". While Spain was butchering Jews and Muslims, Christians and Jews were profiting under the Sunni Muslim Ottomons, even bribing officials to have their sons made into servants of the Emperor, and enjoy low rates of taxation.

Yeah, my uncle was a Marine flame thrower (now deceased) who served in Iwo Jima. He killed a lot of people and he survived, but never recovered.

My father financially supported him and his family for the last ten years of his life. Those that are in combat, War ****S you up.

I have heard that those who carried flame throwers are a special kind of f***ed up after their experience. With bullets you can kill from a distance and may not even see the people you kill. You may simply wound them and they die later in some field hospital. Mortars you don't see the people you kill at all. Flame throwers you are up close since it's a short range weapon and you see/hear people die painfully. It messes with your head.

I honestly have no idea what my grandfather did in the war. He won't talk about it to this day and he's nearly 90. My dad said he never talked about it when they were kids and my grandmother says he has never talked about it with her and they've been married 60+ years. War is hell on those who die, those who survive and those who love those who survive.

It even worse when its taboo to talk about your time at war. I had a great grandfather who served in the British Army during WWI, and his son served in the merchant navy during WWII. Neither could talk about it due to the ridiculous anti-British mentality. Must be the similar for those who served in the German army during WWII.
