Hi Everyone

I am completely stuck for what to do, so please help me!

I have a Samsung Galaxy Ace, the only apps I have installed are pre-installed apps (including facebook) I have 4 text conversations open with about 5 texts in them each, about 30 pgotos and no emails.

I have an 8gb memory card, with nothing on it, i have downloaded apps2sd (which was recommened in some other forum conversations) but it says I have no moveable apps....

I took my phone into the shop and the advice I got was to buy a new one... helpful!!

I have the most up to date version of Kies

What do I do? I'm paying for a phone I can't use

Thanks everyone for any advice :0)

In cases like this we usually delete the unwanted apps and remove the cache stored on the phone, that free up some space. But the basic thing is that this phone has a really low internal memory and that restricts the amount of apps you can install on the internal memory. There are many apps which can be installed on the sd card, but a lot of major apps are stored on the internal memory only.

Your options are:
1. Uninstall some apps and erase cache.
2. Or root your phone, get rid of useless preinstalled apps and clear up some space.
3. Or root your phone, get rid of preinstalled apps plus get an sd-ext partition on your sd card and enjoy unlimited(sd card size or the size of partition you make) amount of internal memory space, install as many apps as you want.

I use the 3rd option, i enjoy 500mb of internal memory and over 200 apps on the phone. I use an 8gb class 6 sandisk ultracard having 500mb of ext3 partition.
