Hey,

I have a problem:
My SGS 3 Uses a lot of battery.
My "Battery App" shows:

Media :42%
Screen: 20%
Android OS: 10%
Mediaserver: 5%
.
.
.(I tried to post a Screenshot, but i need a URL)

so as you can see this stupid Media(Which has the same Icon like "Downloads") is using a lot of my battery.

I've tried to deaktivate the Downloads-App but it didn't help.

Do you know how to stop this?

Happy new Year!

yes, did clear all data of the downloads app.

But i dont think the problem is the downloads app, because if i kill the Media-process it starts again if i play any music or take a look to my album.
So this "media" should be kind of a "reading driver" which starts if i listen to music which is on my memory.
But the problem is that it uses a lof of battery when the screen is off.
(take a look to the screenshot)

I've found the problem: :)

Maybe you have heard of the problem with the micro SD card, which ist connecting and disconnecting every time i lock and unlock the phone...

I had to take the micro SD away. But now this "Media" doesnt show up again and the battery life is perfect.

So the next qouestion is how to resolve this problem with the Micro SD card... :/
I heard Samsung knows about this problem and i hope they will put a new SD card driver with the new update...

Thanks for your help
