Mine was on test mode. Couldbt fixed it. Took to corporate metro store. They couldn't fix it. They ordered me another exteem for 15$ came in in less than a week problem solved sonnys

I'm sorry for stupid question, but I'm new to this and want to install this ROM. Can I still do it if I have ZVB on my phone? Or I should switch to ZVD first and only after that install this ROM?

This rom is for zvd only. You would have to upgrade your phone to zvd then you can install this rom.

Fine, I'll call it a dlx from now on then (I think that's the code name for it.. Similar to the MS-910 for Esteem)

Now that sounds like alot of fun! But I have not tried it yet. Tig works very nice though. No spatter! Just be sure to use an argon helium shield gas or your framework may get corrupted

I just got my phone out of test mode. I didnt enter the info like it says too. I couldnt get it to register. Anyways i took it to a metro seller and told him i needed the info put in. He did it but i had no bars. If this happens just update the prl. First switch your phone from metro pcs roaming to automatic then call *228. Now i have service again.

Hey L did u end up fixing Bluetooth in this rom? Asking cause I bought a new Bluetooth and connected no probe and don't have the fix flashed

What did you do differently in all versions after 2.5, reason I ask is because of the bluetooth issue. Second, I'm not sure what it is but all versions after 2.5 give me atleast 5 force closes through out the day. Any ideas?

yes I did/do a full wipe(all three), should I do a internal format aswell?

Nahhh nothing wrong with the 2.5.3 works lila charm and managed to get dalvic up and down without rebooting . Now the 262- 2.7 all problems if you want to fix some issues add a busybox and new amplets that works great and sovles many issues with battery and screen scrolling and the blue tooth.

Why do i get better battery life on number 2 v2.1??? I like the newest version 2.7 but i want more battery life.. What did you change or what tweaks did you remove so i can add them to the newest version, or what can i do to get more battery life??

I'M HAVING TROUBLE WITH TEST MODE!!!!......CAN ANYONE HELP PLEASE. I'VE READ FUZZY'S "TEST MODE/NO SERVICE FIX" THREAD OVER AND OVER AND I HAVE MORE QUESTION'S.

--Plug your phone into your USB connection.

--Go to START then CONTROL PANEL then DEVICE MANAGER. Scroll down to "Ports(Com and LPT)" Expand it and your phone SHOULD be listed with a "COM7", "COM3" etc....


--Get YOUR "COM" number and remember it. This is what USB port you are plugged into. (If you don't see your phone, the drivers are NOT installed correctly.)

--Open and extract the Test Mode Zip on your desktop

I DIDN'T WANT TO BE THE ONE TO ASK A RIDICULOUS QUESTION AND THE ANSWER IS RIGHT IN FRONT OF MY FACE SO I CONTINUED TO READ IT OVER AND OVER TO LEARN ALL POSSIBLE ERRORS THAT COULD ARISE AND SOLUTIONS TO THOSE ERRORS.

YES, I HAVE ALL THE SYMPTOMS OF TEST MODE {{CAN'T MAKE/RECEIVE CALLS/TEXTS, 4G ENABLED, NETWORK SAYS SEARCHING FOR SERVICE, NO PHONE #, MIN #, OR PRL VERSION#, NOT ROAMING, ROOTED LG ESTEEM, JUST FACTORY RESET ABOUT 2DAYS AGO -- HAD NO CHOICE -- I WAS STUCK IN RECOVERY MODE LOOP FOR A WHOLE DAY TIL I FOUND THE EXITRECOVERY.ZIP (FORGOT WHO DEVELOPED IT BUT THANK YOU), HIT "#" AND HIDDEN MENU COMES UP, USB SAYS FACTORY CABLE MODE, ETC..ETC.}} I GOT EVERYTHING DOWNLOADED, INSTALLED, UNZIPPED, & REGISTERED, FOLLOWED ALL THE STEPS AND WHEN I GET TO THE TEST MODE FIX IT SAYS THIS

Well it looks like you didn't cut the security user control off and u missing a driver cause u should be in com4-8 i been told that from many com 4-8 and you have to hit the correct com in the drop down

OK....i got all the UAC'S OFF and what driver am i missing? because i installed themm all already. i'm in com6 now and it's still saying the same thing...device won't unlock.
