Root [ROM] Negalite-Blurom | 2.95.651.5 | Virgin-Mobile/Sprint | Sense/Apex/Nova | Aroma | 08-10-2013

That looks right. ;)

Initial checkout can take 30 minutes to an hour depending on the speed of your connection, but the updates are only 5 minutes or so after that. You can also easily see the changes in each commit by right clicking on the main BluROM directory, choosing TortoiseSVN, then show log.

You know what gave me trouble last night? I kept trying to "import" into the folder when I needed to "checkout" instead. If you try to import, it keeps asking for a login.

Please excuse this ignorant question. I'm coming from an Optimus V and am about to root my Evo today. I would like to try this rom. Do I need to be on a certain hboot to be able to use it? Thanks.

You should be find flashing this Rom with hboot 1.57 but you will probably have to flash the boot.img too! Due to the kernel!! Are you going to do the wire trick? S-off??

I have to say this. BluROM-Beats+Anthrax kernel on my Klipsch s4a earbuds, this sound is amazing. Perfect. Seems better than anything Ive had before and equal with mobsterz HD audio mod, love it

I could never get my phone to work with Anthrax kernel...but in retrospect...it's always been paired with Mobster HD. Perhaps I'll try it again this week with Negalite.

Its quite easy if you have Anthrax Universal Rls 3.7.0.
Wipe Cache
Use all recommended/default settings, max clock 1566, etc. never had an issue with it
Reboot system and profit

LOL, I've been assured that it's easy, but that's usually from people who get it to work properly :p
I've never run Anthrax for more than 20 minutes without a random reboot. I even did some init.d modifications that didn't help.

So I've determined that either my phone isn't compatible with Anthrax, or the combination of Anthrax and Mobster HD isn't compatible with my phone. In the end, it's MY PHONE that seems to be the commonality.

I'll try it with BluROM soon to see if it works. Also, I have the universal 3.7.0. Mine is 19.17MB in file size (20,096,199 bytes). Also, now that Buttered Toast is Linaro optimized, and it supports 1728MHz, I would need to hear some OBVIOUS improvement in sound to keep using Anthrax over Buttered Toast.

Each time I update BluROM (twice a day sometimes) I would then also need to install Anthrax back over BluROM. I can do it, and it will not take more than an extra 5 minutes...but still, this is a lot of fiddling already...installing BluROM and Anthrax everyday may be too much. I'd probably have to start doing weekly updates to BluROM instead of daily ones.

I'll give it a whirl, but I am not optimistic about the end result. I may even do it tonight...after flashing R40 (or are we already on R41 :p)

Been running this for a couple of days now and I have one question... Is anyone else having a problem with the phone changing it's max cpu speed to 384mhz after waking from a deep sleep? I use kernel tuner to set the max and min speed and the governor's for both cpus. But for some reason after a deep sleep it goes back to 384mhz max and min.
