Root [ROM][WIP]CM10.0.0.l0-BobZ

Omg!!! Thanks a ton Bobz!! But do i still need to flash backup modem zip??

if you are going to install CM10 and monkey with it to try to get 4G working

you should backup your modemst partitions

If you are going to just use CM10 and not mess with the setting, RIL setting and stuff, you probably do not need to do it.

However it is always a wise thing to have a backup

Q: Do I need to install the LTE2 2nd-init recovery APK on this ROM in order to get back into recovery?
A: No, to get back into recovery from CM10: Press(hold) power button until menu comes up > choose reboot > recovery

I would also like to mention on CM10 you can get into CWM from a powered off stated by continually pressing the Volume Down button as soon you turn the phone on, it should go into CWM after you see the red LG logo

aboatright3605 brought this to my attention

I use rootDim on google play , it works perfectly .

cant get on the market with 1x ;(

wifi settings keep saying "avoiding bad internet service" when trying to connect to my router

going to try this """

This problem has been plaguing me ever since I upgraded my Sony Ericcson Experia Pro ("iyokan") from Cyanogenmod 7.2 (Android 2.3.7) to 9.0 (Android 4.0.3) -- until today when I did some more detailed investigation.
It's pretty clearly a defect related to the DHCP client. When it manifests, the device fails to obtain an IP address from any access point, even those with which it had previously had no trouble. Switching to a static IP address works around the problem.
a few minutes ago,I found that deleting the contents of /data/misc/dhcp and then resetting the device cleared the problem. I'm sure it will happen again, but when it does, I'll know what to do about it.
I hope this information helps someone and perhaps leads to a fix. I can't report it is an official bug because I'm using a nightly build (cm-9-20120819-NIGHTLY-iyokan)""
http://android.stackexchange.com/questions/22848/what-does-avoided-poor-internet-connection-mean

im used to DHCP/dhcpcd issues and this seems plausible

edit: fail.

Ok, some things I've gathered after using this rom on my phone for a couple hours.

The theme chooser works good, if a theme doesn't work for you then you could try changing your dpi, I've changed mine from 160 to 140 and I'm able to use all of the themes, I think.

I've looked everywhere in the settings and I can't figure out how to get the button lights to turn on? I could of sworn there was a place in the settings for this.

Playstore is a little weird, I'm not sure what it is but sometimes it force closes or makes the phone reboot.. but I think it's only for certain apps. For example, Aurora theme for cm9/cm10 on the playstore crashes the phone and makes it reboot when it trys to install
