So here's the deal. My phone will connect via blue tooth to my Kenwood deck and I can talk all day with no issues. However when I play music it skips like a scratched cd. It's really annoying and I almost want to return the phone.

Anybody out there have a solution?

The skipping has been there through about a 1.5 years of phones with me from moto to sammy. Most of it has been with many bluetooth 4.0 phones.

I finally figured out that during pairing, that I hit the "end call" button on my bluetooth devices. There are also some bluetooth apps in the market that can possibly help.

Usually if I go from stock to a rom, it's fixed for some reason :D

I regularly use an app to stream old time radio shows from my phone to the car with no skipping at all.
However, since these are recordings of shows from the '40s and '50s it's probably safe to assume that they don't carry the amount of data in the stream that a current recording would.
You might try checking whatever app you're using to see if there is a setting that controls the quality of the sound sent to the 'speakers' - better sound would mean more data in the stream. If you can back down the quality you might eliminate the skips.
