Time for my Upgrade

Absolutely!

From what I've read and heard and seen, the HTC One is the droid to beat at the minute .. unless you need an SD card. I have a 16GB Nexus 4 that doesn't have an SD card either and that's never been an issue for me, so - for me - it would work. Obviously, YMMV though it sounds like, here, not so much :D

Of course, if the camera was the key feature, then the new Nokia 925 is in a class of it's own .. well, apart from the last year's Nokia it took the camera tech from :D

Same quest for me too... another 6 weeks and my upgrade is due and it's between the S4, HTC One, Iphone 5. I also spotted a Huawei phone that I had never heard of before which looked and seemed quite good when I was playing around with it in the shop. Anyone know anything about that one?
Well you'll have to tell us which Huawei it is before we can answer that last ;)

In 6 weeks' time you will be very close to when the next iPhone will be announced, if it hasn't been by then, so I'd not recommend buying the iP5 just before it is replaced.

the sony looks cool but not sure about the updates they get.

The Z has been updated to 4.2.2; the UK unbranded update, last as usual, rolled out yesterday.

Phone even says its 4G but not confirmed this with model number.

The European S4 is fully compatible with all proposed 4G/LTE bands for the UK, so you're future-proofed. :)

Ascend P6? It's a lovely-looking handset. Specs aren't shabby either.... great value.
