I don't want to quit. I really don't. But its making my woman psychotic. She can't stand it. Iam also quitting computers as a hobby. If it doesn't make money I can't do it I guess. We will see if she changes her mind. But right now.. just being the queen B . I hate the thought of it. Iam so close with things now its scary . I hope this doesn't hurt anyone. Maybe I have to dev in secrecy ?

Honestly, IMO from experience, secrecy is not the answer. Always turns into something more than it should be. I would talk to her and see what it is about it hat puts her off. Time.. . Money... Affection... Attention...?? Then build a schedule off of what is learned. If you have time in the morning for it anyways then I would push that direction. Women are easy, when you say something... They just want you to stick to what you said. And also from an experience standpoint, you should never change to make someone else happy. In the end, your own happiness is what builds a relationship because happy people make happy relationships. And I don't know your girl or whatever so not saying anything about her specifically, just speaking from my experience. Most of the time, if you can calmly work out a resolution that is way better than resolving it on your own in secrecy. Best of luck.

A good relationship is one centered on trust, communication, faith and loyalty, and understanding. Sit down with her, talk about what's going on on her end and your own, and compromise. Explain what is important to you and let her know how important to you she is, maybe even a couple times. Hear out what she has to say and work off of it. Compromise is important. Secrecy though will just make things 10 times worse when discovered. Don't do it! Anyway, good luck to you, this is my advice.

Working on n00b took a lot of time, mostly during down times at work, but I did a lot of support/thread monitoring the rest of the time and at home too.
For me the solution was to walk away, get a phone that has good support/dev work (Note 2) and keep my "hobby" in that kind of box, I still check in, flash just about everything and comment on the threads, but I am no longer supporting a ROM and constantly devving.
I think it's important in every relationship to schedule time for hobbies but to be willing to cut back for the good of the relationship. This goes for sports, hunting/fishing, video games etc. One other possibility is to find a time when she's away and won't be bothered that you are doing it, I think your morning idea is awesome except I would talk to her about it and make a commitment to do it while she's not there. That way you are showing you care and want to spend time with her but also standing up for yourself and the hobby you enjoy. Be willing to step back for a bit and try to get her perspective, if she's feeling neglected or thinks other things are being neglected it takes some work to show her that you hear her and care. It's worth it though for a good woman
I am sure all your warped family here won't mind a little less frequent updates knowing that it means you can stick around longer, but however it works out thanks for taking this phone far further than any of us expected. I am almost sad I don't have one any more, almost

I can relate to that, my wife's "hobby" is one on one time with me, but I have found that I can schedule stuff for her like I will watch the kids for a week from when I get home to bedtime and have her either leave the house to go shopping, walking or have her just take her dinner upstairs and do some scrapbooking... or schedule a few extra dates here and there, sometimes it takes helping her figure out what she likes to do and putting aside money and time in the budget/calendar to help her get going. For me I have no shortage of hobbies so I make sure I have money/time to do those, but for her it seems like she just has a hard time figuring that out.

i installed milestone 8 of this rom, and i did everything said for the wifi to work, but it keeps getting stuck on obtaining the ip address... does anyone know how to fix this???
