I would be happy with the gs4 keyboard. On metropolis and rom 2. TW RULES!!!!
Edit: If you want your phone to work as intended that is.

Well here I asked the same question...is this the end of the CDMA Metro S3? Now that I have spoken to my MPCS dealer, my answer is yes. She tells me that Metro is trying to get everyone onto GSM and that my phone will be no more in the near future. I explained that I bought my S3 less than a year ago and asked if there was some type of trade in that they could do for me and there was a quick "NO...I'M SORRY". So why should I stay with Metro, they are making me, (if I want to stay with them and not downgrade in phones) spend $600 on a new phone when I spent $400 less than a year ago on my S3. Really don't see why I should stay with them. Also there are no devs continuing with updates on ROM's for our S3 and it just feels like, for the one's still around, we are all left alone....Wow....This really sucks...but it's been a great ride though!!! Thanks for all the devs and where they got us on our S3's
Or buy the nexus 5 for 350...
I have heard that is a great phone but I certainly am not at the same level as many of you so my question will be stupid. Where to buy the Nexus 5 and can I get it to work with metro's network?
I absoloutely know that this isnt the right place to ask but its kind of personal to the metro family. I did research and im pretty sure that it would work fine if i try it but i wanna ask first. I'm on the $30 promo plan with my cdma gs3 but i want to change to the nexus 5. Can i keep my plan and change phones?
If im correct, i can call metro and have them change service over to my nexus but i need to buy a sim card from metro to get lte.
You can't keep your plan. When switching from a CDMA to GSM plan you would have to go for the $40, $50 or $60 plan. If you buy the simcard in a store, it is policy that they have to activate it with your phone and that is $15. Best bet would be to buy it online, shipped to your house and activate it over the phone. Nexus 5 is a good phone.
Such a humble dev lol. For many of us you've been one since the esteem.I mean im no dev.. but I can still be helpful ;P
as long as I own one ill always do work for it lol I just been really busy latey.. and porting those cool mds is not easy at all, shit keeps changing with every update we get so harder to port them.. lol but ill always poke around.. I mean im no dev.. but I can still be helpful ;P
I am also worried about the depreciation value of my GS3 CDMA from metropcs... And it's potential loss of functionality beyond 2015....
I gave my girlfriend a Nexus 5 and she hopped on the Metropcs BYOD... She gets double the download and upload speeds as me.. It's crazy... I am seriously considering getting myself a Nexus 5 but.. I hate to have to loose it's docking station for my car.. As is where I put my phone through its heaviest use such as waze, music etc...
Why do you guys think I still see a lot of support for this phone.. Yet.. I am worried it will be paperweight in a year or so.?
