4.4 updates?

Rumor is that Smsung will be releasing it in about a month. When AT&T releases it after that is up to what AT&T finds when they start trying to make it fail. (If they don't, after what happened to the S3, someone's got a factory full of screws loose.)

Hi, I'm with Three Uk like you and had no problem installing the KITKAT update via odin on my phone. Only issue I had was that my Third party S-View case stopped working but that was expected and much reported on all the forums. Samsung promised to release an update to rectify this issue and I have Just recieved a 30MB update today and my S-View case is now working.

Samsung has just announced that 4.4 will be rolling out to Note 3 (and other phones) starting as soon as today. Of course, when your carrier decides to push it out is another matter, and we don't have any information on that yet.

If anyone on t-mobile gets the download, post about it here so I know when to remove root so I can get it.

The 4.4.2 update for the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 (SM-N9005 -international version) is available for the Polish region. It will work on any SM-N9005 and has English as a language option. It can be downloaded from SamMobile, but you'll need to register (any old email addy will do) Here's the link :

Hi Pete or anyone interested. Follow these instructions as I did and I found it quite painless and hope you do to.
Just to inform you that this is for the International version SM-N9005
To conduct the search for the link Use a Pc for this as it easier and less fiddly.
Just go to youtube and type in How to put KITKAT on note 3.
A list will come up. On my device I used the Second entry which states in its title "Galaxy note 3 Samsung official kitkat - how to install/flash. The uploaders title is C4ETech and the video length is 6.36. You should find it easily now.
The Download links for the Firmware and Odin are in his description. Just use the drop down arrow to display more info.
Watching his video is a must as it is very informative and very easy to follow.
Watch the video first before doing anything.
The link I used from his description took me 10-20 mins to download the firmware which was about a 1Gb file.
I have found that whenever I have tried to download firmwares from Sammobile the link given is at a basic download speed and took ages.
Hope the info I have given helps and if anyone needs any further assistance please let me know

Sprint started yesterday, as I have read here.
I an in Arizona, USA and I am downloading the OTA Sprint up-date this morning. It's Kit-Kat.
So the rest of the American carriers most likely will follow soon.

The international unbranded and unlocked version in the UK doesn't even have a carrier involved and we are still waiting so hopefully soon .... really soon ...
