Root Do NOT use Huawei bootloader from play store

I contacted the dev and asked if he would add support for the y301 a2 and he assured my that selecting y300 would work. I contacted him again and he guaranteed it would work. After pressing the y300 button a popup stated my bootloader was unlocked and then my phone absolutely died. No matter what i did it wouldnt power up. I got my phone replaced for free by metro but i had to reprogram/root it. Thankfully i had a Huawei back up. Now i also have to beg them for the new unlock code lol. I had to ask 3 times for the first one.

Ya know, I would love to get CM10/11 running on my any of Huawei phones, but since rooting my Premia I'm a little nervous about rooting my Valiant and Vitria. Rooting the Premia caused all kinds of FC, GPS and CPU step errors for me. Thanks to KillCMD and a lot of flashing I have it back as my daily with almost no issues.

Why flash another bootloader to your Vitria? Just curious :)

You have to unlock the bootloader to install the custom recovery to be able to flash roms. As for rooting, use Cydia impactor. Whole process takes 30 seconds. U just download the zip, extract it to cpu, plug phone into comouter with usb debugging enabled. Open impactor and hit start. When its done unplug phone, download supersu from market. Open supersu, update bianary and your done. I then used system uninstaller to remove all bloatware. I havent had a single problem.

I think the only metro app i kept was the browser. Its all up to u really. The app i use to remove stuff stores them in a recycle bin just in case u need to reinstall it. It also gives you details on what can be removed and what you should probably keep. Its honestly the best app for deleting bloatware I've found. Did you use Cydia impactor to root. I already had it on my cpu so when i got my new phone it literally took about 10 seconds to root it.
