Voice Commands replacement

So I have figured since the KK update broke Voice commands, I found a way around it. If you disable the preinstalled voice command app the phone will default to Google Voice commands and it works much better. I don't have to yell at my phone for 5 mins trying to do hands free calling or texting.

BT functionality in the car is greatly improved. Thank you!

Not as good as under JB (which was clean and mean), but looks like other functionality opened up as a result, since now, the default behavior when I long-press the "call" key on the BT device in the car is to call up "Google Speak Now" or whatever that is called. :)

From there, one can do much more than what the JB Dialer could do. So that's a plus I think.

The one downside is I had to share my contact with Google+ I think for it to work, otherwise, it just wouldn't dial. Wish I didn't have to do that. Also every command now is going to be processed by Google.

There's just no privacy anymore. It's an illusion.

Thanks again Creator69. At least this functionality I can live with and actually use reliably.

When I disable my KK voice commands, google voice search works once with my BT headset and won't work after that. I have to reboot the phone to start the KK voice after enabling it. Weird. Any ideas?

I have not had that problem, so not sure what your problem is. All I know is Voice commands is unusable. Google works great for me. Could be your headset. I use the LG tone+
