Help 4.4 Update on ATT i317 Note 2

Not sure but I think it killed Bluetooth. Was working fine before the update. Searched here didn't see anyone say anything about it though. Anyway, if you guys have the issue let me know, or if you fixed it.

I use this phone on Straight Talk, and I don't get Data no more either so I will have to get into contact with them about that. Ugh.... This is what i get when I update before i read...

4.4.2 is the worst, and the fix, 4.4.3 aparently even worse. Look at this one, and you can see it involves among others bluetooth.

Android 4.4.3 KitKat provides bug fixes, creates some bugs too

The comments are a good indication on how bad it is. One advice, don't try to go back to 4.3, it will brick.

OK, so. No go with straight talk.... I swear CS there is like a living hell... Also found out the bluetooth DOES work but only within inches of the phone, and even then it's like i'm 50 feet away....

I just reflashed it back to 4.1.2 and i'll leave it at that for now.

How did you reflash it? There are all kinds of warnings not to do that due to the risk of bricking it.

I used this rom with odin and reflashed. (i'm not rooted either)

Working fine now. One thing to note though I did have to do the factory reset through the system menu's (power volume up and home button) as I have had to do every time I flash it.

Not really. I mean, some bricking can be undone can't it? I've flashed a lot of phones and not bricked anything yet though so I can't say. Reflash at your own risk :D (I was actually NOT aware of the bricking issue but still would have reflashed it) Also, can you send me the 432 rom? If it's stock (not some edited crap) I would rather 4.3.2 than 4.1.2

The bricking issue is due to Knox in Samsungs software. The 4.3.2 rom is for Note 2 N7105 (Lte). CSC=NEE, (Nordic Countries), no crapware, you have all English, N7105XXUEMK5. If it is the correct one for you i will upload it to my DropBox tomorrow. I'm at 12.30AM here (Sweden) right now but notify me here and I'll get back to you.

Since the update my bluetooth doesn't work. I have to hold the phone in my hand while using my LG Tone 730 headset. Before, I could walk all over my house. The bluetooth drops and reconnects during calls. This is horrible. Is there anyway i can fix this? I am not rooted and don't know a thing about flashing. I just want to use my phone like i used to. If I can't get help I guess I will have to go to the IPhone.

That rom must have not included the bootloader. Im betting if you check settings. Your still on the ne5 bl. Haveyou tried wifi yet to see I it is working? The fact is if you try to dowdowngrade the bl. You will brick. Yours probably did not try to down it because it was not in rom. Where did you get that rom?
