I am new to Android, but picked up a Galaxy S5 last Thursday. I encrypted the phone right away and have been looking into rooting it, and today I finally made the attempt. Odin ran through it's processes and everything seemed fine. It showed the green, "PASS!" and rebooted my phone. Upon reboot it asked me for my password, I entered it and it flashed a picture of a droid and then went dark. It was completely black and unresponsive. I was able to restart it and got the same thing.
So, then I went and found out how to restore the phone, ran the program to restore it (which took quite a while). In this instance, Odin One Click said "PASS" again, but the phone responded the same way. Upon reboot it asked me for my password, I entered it, it flashed the droid picture and went dark. Nothing.
Is there anything I can do to get a working phone again?
