Howdy gang....upgraded to Lollipop 5.1 (battery kinda sucks), and am not THRILLED about the persistent Google Search Bar on every screen. (Can someone say OVERKILL?) I realize it must be there to use the "OK GOOGLE" feature..but here is my dilemma and hopefully some kind soul can help;

I have a work phone that has a Verizon number...but all of my friends and family are familiar with my Google Voice number when I text or call. I gave them all the Verizon number...but you know how people are...most didn't add it as a second number for me in their contact list.

When I say, "OK GOOGLE...send text message to XYZ it uses the default messaging app, which then sends out my Verizon WORK number and half the people I text don't recognize it as me. I use Google Voice for all my outgoing and incoming texts...but the OK GOOGLE feature is not going to help me if I have to use default messaging program for sending...as it defeats the purpose of using my Google Voice number.

So here is the question: How can I get OK GOOGLE to use Google Voice as my OUTGOING text program as I recite what I want sent. That way people will know that it is ME that is texting them.

Thank you in Advance.
