I find that very interesting that Verizon sells phones that can go onto GSM networks. Is it LTE only, or do they also get HSPA+ and their CDMA 1x & 3G?
After a certain point a few years ago, Verizon specified world phone capabilities as a supplier requirement for their more expensive models (I don't know the exact cutoff on that, sorry).

Those include full GSM and CDMA radios - prior to that, you had to wait for Sprint or Verizon to occasionally toss out a dual-capability model.

Verizon HTC One M8 on T-Mobile US and AT&T -

I think should be indicating GSM/GRPS/EDGE (2G), UMTS (3G) and LTE.

From experience, there is no need to flash the phone over to Metro. Most Verizon phones I have connect work without the need of flashing or unlocking. The only thing I can't tell you will work 100% is the 4G, in fact it's hit and miss.
What are the apn settings needed for an unlocked verizon phone to work with metro pcs? I have a verizon note 2 on metro pcs but the data will not work. Metro pcs can not figured it out.
