So since it's looking like the beloved note lineup will be following lord apple to the no SD card and non removable battery land... I want to know is there a way to back up all my videos and pics to transfee to the note 5? I have been carrying my SD card for years and have amassed over 6k in photos and videos.. so is there any FREE alternative that will allow me to keep my photos on the new device since I won't just be able to pop in my card anymore...****!

Not sure which carrier you use but the Verizon Cloud would do that. I also use Microsoft One Drive. They will give you some free storage if you automatically allow your photos to be backed up when you take a shot and are by a wifi connection. I looked into this when I figured the sd card was on its way out earlier this year. One Drive is easy to use. It might take you a little work to upload them. Al

I use Google Photos - I really think it's great. I don't know if it's still the case, but if the resolution is under a certain size, then the storage is free. If it exceeds that size, then it counts against your Google Drive limit. I have about 1TB of space on my Google Drive thanks to a Chromebook promotion and when it expires, I'll probably renew because it's worth it to me.

And if you happened to have paid for extra space, and then you no longer want to pay for that extra space, your photos will still always be accessible regardless. It's just that you will not be able to add any more - so you know you'll always have access to your photos regardless of whether or not you continue to subscribe to more space.
