Root [ROM][MetroPCS & T-Mobile] Katana ROM *Updated 11-16-2015*

Just do it per usual, perhaps it isn't the ROM but something server side as well.

Little mod I just figured out, by changing the values of the txt file Lcd_on.txt here
Screenshot_2016-01-07-15-44-42.png
to all zeros like so

disables that annoying led when you use knock on or knock off.

Heyo Blu8, I'm having trouble watching videos on a browser with this rom. Whenever I click where it says to use the device's video player, it instead takes me to this googlevideo.com/videoplayback site instead of using the lg video app. It then says the video is corrupted. The lg app on its own works fine and I set it as the default video player using a default manager app. Halp??

Rom nice thanks! Downloaded before I bought this phone today. I read each page and didn't see anyone metion this. So asking you all I guess who flashed? When people call, I can barely hear them. I made few calls to gf before flash and volume level was normal. Anyone else having this issue?

P.S. Shout out to Blue8 and masterchief! I didnt post much was in the shadows. But I remember the struggle with Samsung Avant

I installed GApps nano package to possibly fix a problem with buying a app for the first time on my PC and having it go to my phone. Not a real big deal because everything else work with Google play and apps being installed from my PC. Anyway, I haven't bought any apps so I don't know if it fixed anything but I do see a big change in battery life. Still not bad but drains faster them without it.
Can I remove the GApps nano package or to I have to re-flash the Rom and start over?
Thanks

Just flash the ROM again, don't wipe data, you'll be fine. Although gapps doesn't/shouldn't drain more battery.

Change log in post #2

Like my work? Click the like button. Thanks :)

First off love your rom, thank you! I turned the FM transmission on through Prop editor. The FM works on stock through this method. Blu8 suggested change the DPI to 320 (stock DPI.) Still won't work. Any ideals this is the case? Any way to get it to work?

He's on MetroPCS I think but yeah enabling FM is just a build.prop edit, look for the line and change it from false to true. His problem is he can't get it work on Katana
Also if you do turn it on its on all the time so keep that in mind.
yeah i knew about the buildprop edit and how it just stayed on all the time once it was enabled...but i thought i had read in another thread that it was only working on boost stylos

Couldn't really tell ya about the battery drain man, I never enabled it and never used FM radio on a phone before.
@AP2FTW well I think I saw someone say that they were using it with next radio and it worked for them, but again it's not something I've done.
If im not mistaking either boost or Att stylo comes with fm.apk stock ... That means it was enabled in the kernel by carrier.
And when you have it enabled n the app.. That allows you to turn it on and off so it dont drain battery
