Samsung has gotten by with their Galaxy Note 7 debacle by trying to issue a voluntary replacement program, but this has now been taken to the next level.
Samsung has officially announced the recall in the US (which had happened in Canada earlier this week), and tells us new, safe Note 7 units will be available in retail stores and carriers by September 21st.
