I met someone recently who gave me a Samsung Galaxy Note 4 (model SM-N910A). Said that it's stuck on the AT&T logo screen.
I was able to go to factory-reset ("recovery booting...") mode by holding VolumeUp, Home, and Power. I proceeded to erase everything that I can erase there: "wipe data / factory reset" and"wipe cache partition".
