Keeps pausing music

Hey, I just got a ZTE avid trio a few weeks ago and I keep coming a crossed this problem with my phone, It keeps pausing my music for no reason at all sometimes after a few minutes and sometimes after a few seconds. I've looked through my settings to see what'll help but I don't know what will, my phone also crashes a lot almost every few minutes on an app. please help. Thanks.
