I had been wanting to get a Zmax Pro for a while because of his many times I had read about what an amazing deal it is supposed to be. I finally got one and now I'm reading about bugs, firmware issues, and a lack of rooting ability if that is your thing (I've never done it but always liked knowing I could if my phone irritated me enough). I have the b20 software, which I'm hearing is a bad thing. Did I make a bad choice in getting this phone? Should I get the b21 update? Anything else I should do or not do with my phone to keep it running well?

Out of box, my phone came with B08 firmware (06/17) and has been running flawlessly without any issues. no we do not have root yet but we have some guys that are still dedicated to the project. it's overall a great phone. I don't think you made a bad choice as far as choosing this device.
