MMS Wi-Fi stopped working

I have a Galaxy S9 Plus. Normally I use the stock messaging app or Textra. For the past couple of months I've been using Textra no problem over Wi-Fi. Since I have Wi-Fi calling enabled SMS and MMS are sent over my Wi-Fi networks as I only have 1x signal in my house. I had the S8 plus before this and I've been using it for over a year.

The past few weeks for some reason text works fine but I cannot send MMS over Wi-Fi. I can receive them just not send them. I actually did a factory reset on my phone and it didn't help so I did a factory reset on my router and it helped for about an hour. I've already talked to Verizon and AT&T who is my DSL provider and no one can figure it out. I've temporarily switch to the Verizon messaging app but I'm having other issues with it although the MMS is working. I would rather use Textra or the stock Samsung app. Any help appreciated!

Typically MMS is limited to cellular connectivity, so while SMS can be exchanged via basic cellular, mobile data, and WiFi, MMS needs mobile data. Keep in mind that SMS/MMS are both very dated protocols, the plus being they both are universally compatible with almost every texting service. And while both only require a minimum amount of bandwidth, a minus is MMS can only be exchanged between different carriers via mobile data. You can often get around that limitation if both parties are using the same texting service, with the issue being with some many texting/messaging apps available, most of us are using different ones. Another option to exchange photos and video is use email. Or if you have online storage, use the file sharing feature most include and just text the link.

Could be your carrier(Verizon) is currently having issues and outages with their services? Any other Verizon customers experiencing similar problems? WiFi messaging and calling is not something I've ever used or seen myself, as it isn't used in Asia.
I checked with them the day before yesterday and all is fine according to them.

It's something fairly new to me although it's been around for a while here in the US. Basically Wi-Fi calling also includes sms and mms. Anytime you're on a Wi-Fi network it routes calls and messages through the network instead of your cellular signal. It's great for buildings that don't get a very good cell signal if you have Wi-Fi.
