I have a question about a notice on my screen.

Could be an OTA system update pushed out by Nokia? And to complete the download it does need to be connected to WiFi.

Suggest you post a screen-shot, might give us a better idea if it's legitimate or not. If you go into Settings, About Device, Check for Updates, that should tell you more details.

if it is an update, which it seems it is, it wants to download over wifi for a few reasons......sometimes the data is quite large and this will protect your data plan. also wifi is more stable and if you were to loose signal while downloading then you might get a bad install of the update.......which can result in having to do a factory reset.....which in turn you will loose all of your data.

.......so this warning is a good thing.
