Yep, I'm the culprit. Sorry....not sorry, you know? I just had to let it out.

So let me try a tamer version: the holdup on it is because red and blue can't agree on the amount. Meanwhile, people whose lives have been turned upside-down by this pandemic are left twiddling their thumbs.

Is that better? :D

Not mine. :( I'd take a picture right now of a box I have going, but I'm too lazy to get up and neatly arrange things first. Anyway, the box is FILLED with mail requesting donations. I'm serious. I actually had to get a bigger box. I don't know what I'm waiting for, but I'm waiting to tackle it. I guess I keep thinking it's going to magically disappear. :eek:

I know the feeling. Hopefully when you move things out of sight, you want them to magically vanish.

Yeah, but mine's in full sight; I'm looking at it right now. I walk past it every time I leave or come back to my bedroom. I don't WANT to hide it...I just wish it would magically take care of itself! :D

Mine, if and when it comes, will be by snail mail/paper check. The first one took a while and the IRS site for tracking it was useless.
I've been getting less mail overall, although the bills still manage to show up. Some of the charity pandering finds its way here as well but that's what the shredder is for. It's conveniently located right by the door when I come into my house.

My charity requests are largely from organizations I support--but also a fair amount from similar places that found out I support their cause. I have to actually wade through all of it to separate those I will/won't/might donate to. If I had a bottomless pit filled with money, I'd give them all some of it! But, alas, I don't. *shrug*

Fingers crossed! So many people really need the additional money.

I have my alerts customized based on what type of alert they are. A while ago, I heard the cash register sound, which means anything related to money (banking, credit card charges, deposits). Lookey here! (This is on my laptop, using KDE Connect.)
