Help SECURE CHECK FAIL : recovery(10)

Hello I just got a new Samsung galaxy tab a7 for christmas 4 days ago. Got all my accounts and apps set up and updated everything without a problem the first day. Today I got an update notification and proceeded with it. After the update finished the screen stuck on a blue error page that says "SECURE CHECK FAIL : recovery(10)" in blocked red and black letters in the top left corner, and in the center of the page it says "Security Error: this device has been flashed with unauthorized software & is locked. Call your mobile operator for additional support. Please note that repair/return for this issue may have additional cost."

I contacted Samsung about this issue and they told me to factory reset the tablet. Only problem is every time I tried, instead of opening the reboot menu, it returned me to the same error page. I cannot hard reset or do anything except turn it off and back on to the same page. So the tech told me to send it in for examination.

I'm not about to pay any kind of fees for something broke by their own update software, so if anybody could please help with this issue and save me the headache of arguing with Samsung, i would appreciate it greatly!

I have 3 days from now to send it to them before the shipping label expires, so if anyone has a way to fix it you'd really be doing me (and I'm sure many other people) a real solid. Thanks again and God bless!

Amazon. And it was sold by the official Samsung sellers so I think it's pretty unlikely to be a fake or corrupted or whatever. It worked perfectly for 4 days till I updated it today.
just return it from amazon and get another one....maybe not from the exact seller you got it from though.
