    Vodafone has confirmed the Nexus 6P will be updated with the January security update on January 4th. The update's build number will be "N4F26I" and will bump the patch level to January 5.

    Some people who own the Nexus 6P are saying their phone prematurely shuts off even when the battery level reads as much as 60%. Google has assigned the report in the AOSP Issue Tracker, but so far it's been given a low priority, and without any additional details on the matter.

    The Android 7.1.1 update also reduces the touch latency on both Pixel and Nexus devices

    Another interesting tidbit from the recent Android 7.1.1 Nougat update is improved touch latency. Ars Technica tested both the Pixel and Nexus devices, and said it went from 48ms to 28ms on the Pixel.
