3g on/off app

hey guys, I did a quick search but I couldn't find any similar thread..

so I've been using apndroid in order turn on/off 3g so that it doesn't use so much battery plus I wanted to be sure no application would cause it to reach its MB limit sooner..

but it doesn't seem to work with ice cream sandwich which is what happens with a few apps I found from google as well..

so all I need is an on/off button for 3g

any help would be appreciated!

I would email the developer of APNDroid and let him know that his app does not work in ICS. It's a problem with upgrading the OS, some apps have to play catch up.

Not sure if this is exactly what you want, but Curvefish has several on/off toggles. This is one I don't use (I'm good with 3G on all the time), but might be just the ticket for you:

I've been watching closely for this - and so far, no luck. Even on my Thunderbolt, I really didn't get a "toggle" - I got a "shortcut to" the option to manually flip it over. MOST 3G toggles I've seen have been like that.

You might check out Any Cut. I've used it to create some WACKY shortcuts - but I don't know if they are up to ICS compatibility yet.

Wait....you want to turn OFF 3G? I sometimes want to turn off 4G when I don't need it, but turning off 3G? The data speeds would be at a snail's pace!

Or are you talking about the mobile data antenna?

If it is only the mobile data antenna you are talking about, then there will be an option in the settings menu to disable data.
