? about Rooting after the OTA, when it happens

I am still running 1.5. and didn't know if i should ask this here or in the root forum.

Everyone that is on the flash 2.1 whatever version seems to be hoping to find some way to get back to 1.5 so they can root.

I am on the fence. Do I wait for the OTA and hope they find a root for that? or just root now? Do those that are currently "stuck" so to speak plan to root if they ever find a way on 2.1?

I want opinions.

Mainly I would like to get the wireless tether and is that an option if you do not root regardless?

if you didn't go on 2.1 right away when it came out you should root 100%
