I really wouldn't worry about a screenprotector that don't stretch to the edges. I mean most protection covers 99% of the screen and in the event something happens to that 1%, it was meant to be. At some point you got to get off the sidelines and enjoy the darn phone and stop worry over every little things.
With the phone being so new, it will take some time before manufactures catch up. Until then, enjoy what you got and stop worrying over the little stuff.
