Amount of space from stock

My apology if this has been asked already but I did look.

How much usable space does the HTC One X come with, out of the box?

I have Desire so chronic lack of space is an issue.

There's 2GB space for apps and the virtual SD Card gives you about 25GB so hopefully space won't be an issue.

It does unfortunately. Despite it being part of the internal memory, to all intents and purposes, the phone thinks it's an SD Card.

Is that 2gb absolutely reserved for apps? Or is it 2gb minus Sense, data files, etc?

The way the 32GB is broken up is like this:

2.5GB (ish) for your File System (Lost essentially, but there is no way around that).
2GB for the ROM itself
2GB for Apps
25GB (ish) as a virtual SD Card.

So the ROM, including Sense and all it's bits and peices is on it's own partition meaning you get the full 2GB for apps.

Plus the dropbox file store (web based) is free for two years and has 25Gb to synchronize files between phone, pc, tablet etc
