Android 14 canera app

3. Software version - 14
4. Specifics of the problem - Camera app not using zoom lens for video

Since auto update to v. 14 the video in camera app will not go past 7X, which is the limit for zoom with the standard lens I believe. This give a badly focused and fuzzy result
Before update it would auto-switch to the telephoto lens, which could zoom in to about 20X

The photos part of the app still zooms to 20X so seems not to be a hardware problem.

Is there any way to get the old camera app back or a decent alternative to install?

Please let me know as the camera is the main reason I bought the phone and it is making me crazy.

according to the link you can, but only in either 4k60 or 4k30(it was never confirmed).

also checkout the very last post. let us know if that worked or not.
