Android default browser closes randomly on evo.

My mother is having this random problem where her web browser closes, sends her back to the Google search page. It seems to only happen when she has some tabs open. Note that it does not force close it just crashes. She is very disappointed and would like to know the solution. My evo sometimes send me to the home screen but does not close. Thank you in advance. Off topic could you guys make a mobile site

Have you tried a battery pull? If that doesnt work, you might need to do a hard reset.
