Android newbie

Hi all. i've moved over to the "dark side" and bought an htc desire to replace my iphone 3g . I've had the phone for over a week and i'm still hesitant about making the complete swap so have only charged the phone but haven't put my sim card in yet! i'm not very technical so i'll need real a real idiot guide to make sure i get up and running ok.
i will be asking lots of questions before i take the leap...though, even just looking at the htc is enough for now...gorgeous!

welcome. The only way you can come to a decision on making the complete swap is to put the SIM in and give it a full trial run.
