Help Any way to test if my NFC reader is working properly?

I think the NFC reader on my phone might not be working. I tried scanning some NFC toys on it, and no matter where I placed them all over the back and front of the phone, absolutely nothing happened. NFC IS on and enabled, but I get no response.

Is there any way I can check to see if the NFC hardware in my phone is working properly? Or has anyone else had this issue?

with the M9 I never had a problem using Android Pay, but with the 10, it has never worked. Headphones that are supposed to pair using NFC do not. I dont think NFC works on the 10

If you have 2 phones that have NFC you can do a test by placing both phones back to back-

• Turn on NFC for both devices. ...
• Go to My Folders and open it. ...
• Search for the file you want to send, and open it. ...
• Bring both devices back to back (touching devices is advised) and wait for NFC to connect. ...
• Once NFC is connected, the originating phone will have the "Touch to Beam" option.
