Somewhere in the Internet
i got the latest armhf edition
very cool. decompile ,recompile jars apk, dex, resources
signs as well
an awesome tool that runs from your phone
Download
http://code.google.com/p/apktool/downloads/detail?name=apktool4.4_armhf.zip&can=2&q=

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2388135

Nothing else is needed.unpack copy the Apktool folder to your sd and install the app

to go deeper look for (ShowJava) converts smali to java on your phone
not 100 percent efficient but helps you find where to start looking for smali edits

also i use (ZipMe) it makes flashable files from your phone
whats cool is you can extract the flashable zip and replace your modified files and rezip for flashing ( this has unbootlooped me over 30 times)without having to restore.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=zip.me

but this allows you to make a flashable file of anything you are going to mess with

framework,build props,a anything
just make a zipme before you start modifying
get stuck,just flash the original.

Two other good tools
Axel Xml Editor
920 Text Editor

This has been totally been valuable
i have stopped tons of background activity
Gotten most apps to do only what they claimed
I had few paid apps that were running GA tapjoy, admob and other crap
I was amazed at what these apps really do
Even my system apps, If you want your phone do only what you want it to look closely at your apps.
I finally replaced every System app "except phone and settings" because of this

well i am still "homeless" cant always use my laptop
i sorta got used to it now
and is done fairly quick even running one core at 812 mhz
big psckages i exec a morepowerful cpu profile
Its kinda fun .i have scoured tons of apps modified most i use
there are a few i cant recompile yet
like dolphin.firefox.1mobile.bla kmart.a few others
i think this tool has ability to switch between aapt versions
still learnig about it
but am gonaquess its much easier than pc versions
since no commands are needrd

This should work on many phones
many of us have another phone
i have an l9 which kills the battery just with a bootup damnnear
i need to get it more battery friendly
