At one point I managed to get the market Place to identify whether there were updates available to the apps I've downloaded to my Droid. I can't work out how I got to that list. Anyone know?

If not through the Market Place, is that an app that will check for updates for me?

Open the market place, click the menu button at the bottom of your screen, click downloads. If any of your apps have updates, they will be listed at the top.

You will also get a notification in the bar when updates are available. Might not be instant, but you will get a notification that x number of updates are available.

Barbara and Dmgabe hit it on the head. I just wait until it tells me.
